Very occasionally we’ll toot our own horn. Now is one of those times. Bugle is proud to share that our work producing Booz Allen Hamilton’s Talent XGuide recently won an AIGA 50. A biennial design competition, the AIGA 50 award celebrates DC’s creative community and recognizes design that makes an impact.
The Talent XGuide was built in partnership with Nh.d Studio and Greg Kahn Photography. Our challenge was to transform Booz Allen’s new employee journey model into an exciting, practical guide you can hold in your hands. Conceived and designed in web and print versions, the Talent XGuide is a way to navigate the client’s vibrant perks, benefits, programs, tools, and expectations. In particular, the judges noted the publication’s blind embossed cover and the symbiotic play between hand lettering, custom illustrations, and original photography across a variety of card stock.
The DC chapter of AIGA includes more than 1,200 design advocates throughout the DC area and is the fifth largest chapter in the nation. We’re honored to join the ranks of those agencies awarded at the 15th annual DC design competition and look forward to raising a glass with next year’s winners.
